Bring AmeriCorps to Your Community The South Carolina Commission on National and Community Service Funded Programs AmeriCorps Member Hours Management Americorp Fiscal Reporting and Reimbursement Requests Notice of Funding Opportunity

This year (2009-2010), The United Way Association of South Carolina AmeriCorps (UWASCA) will provide nearly $2 million in AmeriCorps funding to communities across South Carolina. AmeriCorps members 400 strong will be engaging in volunteer activities designed to help address unmet needs and improve the quality of life for all citizens in our state. In the coming years, we will be working hard to increase the number and scope of our AmeriCorps programs in order to make a significant and positive impact on lives and communities in our state. You and your community can be a part of this growing movement.

UWASCA is beginning the process of selecting grant applications for submission to the Corporation for National and Community Service for the 2010-2011 program year. We encourage and invite high-quality community service program proposals for consideration.
